Forestry
The forest resources of Batangas City are not in commercial quantity except for bamboo which is exported to several municipalities in Metro Manila and Calamba for use of the construction of fish pens.
Forest lands can be found mostly in Barangays of Talumpok Silangan(where Mt. Banoy is located), Talahib, Sto Domingo, Cumba and along the boundary line with the municipality of Lobo.
