In addition to the above-mentioned facilities, there is a public basketball court in almost every barangay in the city. For other sports and similar activities, the residents can avail the facilities of Pablo Borbon Memorial Institute of Technology gymnasium, the City Hall Quadrangle and the Multi-Purpose Canter at the Laurel Park.
For the track and field events, the residents can avail of the use of Batangas National High School ground.
The former Quezon Memorial Stadium is being considered as a proposed site of the Batangas Regional Sports Complex. At present, the Phase I of the grandstand was completed already. Basketball and volleyball courts and baseball/softball diamonds were already finished and being used during the annual city school meet.
Programs concerning sports development are now being promoted and supported by the city governament, the barangay councils, the Snagguniang Kabataan and the different socio-civic organization in the city. The city has 10 movie houses wherein most of the movies being shown here are simultaneously being shown in Metro Manila.
